This partnership marks a bold new chapter in our Eco-Restore Project, an initiative designed to combat the devastating environmental effects of illegal mining (galamsey), deforestation, and land degradation in vulnerable communities.

Ghana's lush landscapes are under threat from illegal mining to unsustainable development. In response, Pathfinders Global's Eco-Restore Project focuses on rehabilitating degraded lands and empowering local communities to take ownership of their environment.

Building on our past efforts, like our participation in the Green Ghana tree planting campaign with the Forestry Commission, we're now scaling our vision by joining forces with Tree Tag. This means more trees, more communities involved, and most importantly—more accountability.

Tree Tag isn't your typical planting partner. Their platform uses GPS-enabled tagging, growth monitoring, and carbon data tracking to ensure that every tree planted is counted, monitored, and protected.

Through this partnership, we're now able to:

•Plant trees in schools, local communities, and institutions most affected by environmental damage.

•Monitor every tree's growth and carbon capture, giving our sponsors and supporters tangible data on impact.

•Involve students, teachers, and local residents in hands-on environmental education and conservation.

This fusion of community participation and digital innovation brings a new level of transparency, engagement, and effectiveness to afforestation.
